Mission and Past Support
We support organizations that improve the quality of life (primarily) in the Adirondack region of New York.
Adirondacks.
The primary purpose of the
foundation is to improve the environment, both physical and cultural, in
the Adirondacks and to make life easier, healthier, and more rewarding
for the people who live there.
Outside the Adirondacks.
While most of the
Foundation’s grants (over 80%) go to institutions in the Adirondacks,
targeted grants and gifts are reserved for to protecting civil liberties
and to general support for art and educational institutions
